What a completely horrible day - the weather that is. The fun started the minute we got on the truck. 10 minutes down the road Scoobie our driver decided that the front wheel was dodgy, so there we sat, in a ditch, with 13 people all sitting looking at one another, not a word was said.... until that was, the local firewater showed it's head and then the fun began. One by one we all sampled the rum handed round by Kenny our brilliant guide. After transfer to a truck with fully functioning wheels, we went on past the sugar canes and down to a typical Dominican house where we were offered coffee by the owner and then onto the local school. What an eye opener. Later we sampled fresh coffee/chocolate from freshly ground beans. On then to lunch and a trip up the river. More rum, more rain... and then onto the beach which had the waves as big as my house but it made the boogie boarding all the more fun. Unfortunately the weather drew in and we were treated to a torrential downpour and we had to cut the boogie boarding a little short, but d'you know, it was the most fun we had had in a long while. Back on the truck and Scoobie specials all round; more rum, beer and "special Scoobies"... All in all a brilliant day and would recommend this to anyone. Suitable for kids, despite the alcohol as coke and sprite readily available. Kenny you were brill and you too Scoobie Doo. GO SCOOBIE GO.....

I wana thank you for a wonderful hole day outback safari ride on august 15,2009! It was amazing ! Out tour guide was Omar he was amazing, he tought us a lot about Dominican history and culture! I loved the tripe,and if i go to DOminican Republic again i will defenetly go again on a trip like this )))... THANK YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We just came home from our visit to Puerto Plata (August, 2009). We enjoyed an informative and enjoyable tour of a village, school, lake, beach, lunch and more. We must mention that our tour guides were the absolute best. We had Junior as our guide and Rafael as our driver. Junior had a terrific sense of humor and both guides were very personable. We brought along small toys for the children en route and Junior gave them out to the children in the villages. We also brought school supplies for the classroom. The teacher and children were so grateful. Thanks to Junior and Rafael, we learned alot about the people and daily life of the Dominican people. They made our day special and memorable.

We went on the tour on 12th August and had the best time ever. Alex was our guide and made our day fun aswell as giving us lots of information about the history of the Dominican Republic aswell as current issues happening today. Papi was our driver and bar man and he was great! Seeing the real Dominican Republic was an adventure and visiting the local school was brilliant. This was by far the best part about our 9 day trip to Punta Cana. We went on August 15th for the full-day excursion. Alex was fantastic and really taught us a lot about the Dominican culture. We had such a great time and enjoyed getting to go through a local community as well as swimming on the gorgeous beach for an hour or so. I would 100% recommend this trip to anyone and I guarantee it will change your entire view of this country. Great people - friendly and fun! Get Alex if you can - he was awesome.

Buenos Dias,Como Esta? We went on the Outback Safari on 13th august and it was an experience that we will never forget. We were on the truck with Nick and his crew from Conneticut. Sammy and louie were are guide and driver and were both top class. Sammy kept us informed about everything and anything history, people, places, food, medicines, plants his knowledge was fantastic as were his drink serving skills hanging off the back of a truck moving at 50 km/h! Louie drove the truck amazingly in his big pink glasses through mud, potholes and the thunderstorm that broke out which made the trip even better, we all got soaked! The visit to the Dominican family home in the countryside was really good. Lovely to meet grandma the children and all the girls letting us try their coffee and chocolate which I'm drinking right now. . .delicious! It was the first time i've ever tasted raw sugar cane too which was very sweet and tasty. The stop off for dinner was great with chicken, rice and peas and of course plenty of beer! Just driving through the Dominican towns and countryside was brilliant waving and saying hello to everyone. I would definitely say that anyone visiting the Dominican must take this excursion or you'll miss out on an educating, fun and thought provoking day out that just may change the way you live your own life when you get back home. What a fantastic day ! we went on wednesday 12th august and had the good fortune to have kenny as our guide.He kept the whole truck entertained both young and old alike ! the scenery was breathtaking (as was the roads !!)meeting the dominican people was very humbling they are so happy and friendly with their lifestyle where we would moan if we had a powercut for a few minutes some of theese people rely on solar power if they have power at all! the boogie beach was amazing we could have stayed all day! many thanks again to the wonderful kenny and driver from kelly , gavin ,callum, daniel and ethan ( mightymouse to you kenny) xx

I've never been on an organised excursion while on holiday before but after winning a free ticket to go on the full day safari, we thought we'd book. And boy were we glad we did, we thoroughly enjoyed it!! We had an excellent day and Jesse, the tour guide, was very entertaining and knowledgable. He kept us, especially my little boy, giggling throughout the trip! I really wanted to see a bit of the country during our stay and what a fantastic way to do it. Probably the best organised day trip I've ever been on and I would recommend to anyone to go! We saw a typical Dominican house, swam in a beautiful river, visited a plantation and the list just goes on!! If I ever return to the Dominican Republic, I'll be sure to book onto this trip again. Thanks guys for a wonderful day out and some great memories!

We took the trip on Friday Aug. 7th & we had a blast. Alex was our tour guide & Hector was the driver. They were both very friendly & funny. Alex was great, he was full of information & we learned alot! We were able to meet Sammy also..... He is very funny. I would highly reccomend to request Alex if at all possible. The tour was great, the lunch was very good & we enjoyed visiting Macao Beach at the end. Alex, thank you so much for probably the best excursion experience we had. Definetly a trip you want to do!!

A great day had by all four of us, Ruddy was a fantastic guide throughout the entire day with lots of interesting information about the region. Food at lunchtime was very good and although our children enjoyed the boogy boarding, personally the best part of the day for me was the swimming in the river. I would recommend this excursion to anybody travelling to Dominican Republic, as it is not only an exciting day it is great value for money compared with other excursions.

IT WAS SO MUCH FUN! William is the BEST tour guide and Ramon is the BEST driver! I laughed and learned so much! The tour was a good way to see the DR. It was fantastic learning about the culture and seeing the sights. I recommend this tour to anyone visiting the country. Awesome!

Great tour. We had Sammy as the guide and Leo as the driver. Both very fun to hang around with. Leo was a great driver, carefully maneuvering around the potholes and ditches in order to make our ride as comfortable as it can be. Sammy was a great tour guide. He was very enthusiastic and answered all questions to his greatest extent. Just a tip: make sure you put on your sunscreen and swim wear BEFORE arriving at the beach since you only have 45 - an hour of beach time. Time flies when you're having fun, especially when you're boogie boarding. Don't be afraid to try new things! It was a first for me to try boogie boarding and not to mention, MAMAJUANA! I definately recommend this tour to anyone, young and old.

We are happy to give a glowing review of our excursion on the Outback Safari. How wonderful it was to see the local Dominican culture and experience such a beautiful country! Eddy, our guide, was funny, knowledgeable and courteous. He answered all our questions- which were many! The chocolate, coffee and sugar plantation was fabulous, and the beach was fantastic! We would highly recommend this activity to anyone that would like to "get off the resort" and experience the day to day lives of the locals. Thank you for making our trip extremely memorable!

We would like to say that this trip was great, the kids absolutely loved our tour guide Rudy, he made their day. The driver Scooby hit all the pot holes on the way which made all our Cuba Libres and Santo Libres go all over us, it was funny. We went to visit a house were the Dominican people lived, went on a short boat trip and saw some tarantulas and snakes. Held a crocodile and had a photograph taken, then went on to the beach and did some boogie boarding, all the guides help the kids do it and they had a great time. Gracias again to Rudy and Scooby, we LOVE YOU. We would recommend this and if we return (which we hope to do), we will definitely go again.

A huge THANK YOU to our guide Kenny and driver Rafa who between them made our trip. Kenny was so informative about Dominican life and customs and Rafa kept us safe on the dodgy roads (there are no rules in DR - well there are but nobody takes any notice of them!!) I would strongly recommend this trip, you won't be disappointed - ask for Kenny, he really made it for us. I never thought I would be 'Boogie Boarding' but together with swimming in the river (extremely cold but exhilariting!)and the other visits we really saw some of the local life and customs - well worth the money. By the end of the day Kenny knew everyone's name and looked out for us, we laughed all day - book it you won't be disappointed.

We just got back from Dominican Republic and this is one trip that we will always remember. From driving in the back-country, meeting the locals, fruit plantation, swimming in the river, boat tour & boogie boarding! We enjoyed every bit. Especially the fact that the company is committed in giving back to the needy in their community. Highly recommended for anybody visiting!

This was a really amazing tour. My friend and I had a great time w/ Jose and our driver (that it's driving me crazy I can't think of his name right now b/c he was awesome too!) We went on 6/27/09 and had such a great time. We learned so much about the culture and history of the DR. It was truly a really great experience. I would def. recommend this to anyone! My girlfriend and I went on the full day trip out of Punta Cana. It was amazing!! It was both fun and adventurous and very informtive!! Our guide, Sammy, was great!! He was very funny and very knowledgable, not to mention and excellant bartender!! Our driver was Leo and he was also a great guide. I would reccommend this tour to anyone!!
