Our tour with Sammy (guide) and Danny (driver) was the best part of our vacation in my opinion, and we stayed at Secrets, a really nice all inclusive. It is the REAL Dominican Republic you see on this tour. If you want to experience the countryside, and way of life of the Dominican people go on this tour and get a wake up call from the all inclusive you are staying at. Truly enriching experience. Sammy was the BEST tour guide I've ever had on ANY tour I've ever taken. Highly recommended.

We had a fantastic, interesting and enjoyable days excursion with Willis (our guide) when we visited Luperon last year. Please book and have a go. We did the outback with "NACHO" and Daniel. What a great trip. The "Nacho Family" spent a wonderful day exploring the other D.R. not seen at the all-inclusives. Nacho speaks seven different languages, English, Spanish, French, German, Donkey, Dog,and Cat. Nacho was our guide, he is worth seeking out. Would recommend this trip to anyone wanting to learn and see the real D.R

Anyone who is visiting the Dominican Republic has to partake in this excursion. I would go back in a heartbeat! My tour guide was Tony. An absolutely amazing guide who knew everything! (I am your cousin!) He kept things interesting and fun. They care about you and your safety. It would be fun for all age groups. The only set back, I wish the day would have lasted longer! :)

We went on this tour 7/8/03 with Sammy as our guide and Carlos as our driver...WOW. This was absolutely the best tour we went on. It was wonderful exploring the rain forest, meeting the people, the river, the shopping, and Macow Beach! Not only is this tour an absolute MUST on your vacation, the bonus is that this tour company gives back to the people..this is wonderful. I could never say enough good things about this tour and their employees, they truly make you feel apart of everything. This is the true Dominican Republic! We will be back.

there was 19 of us out in the Dom. Rep in March 2003 were my husband and i got married we decided that we would take a trip a couple of days before the wedding and the safari was defiantly the best option. It was such a lovely day when we booked the tour with jesse at our resort we told him that we was getting married and when they come to collect us on the morning of the tour the jeep had ballons and ribbons all over it. that was a very nice touch. We had such fun we had jesse as our tour guide and he was such a laugh, there was 13 of our group that went on this tour and when we all got back and told the others they wished that they had come we will all be back next year for the trip so see you all then. ( dont forget to visit the car wash) Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha!

we went on the safari around puerto plata and cabarete, the trip was absoloutley excellent, worth every penny, our driver was Gui and our tour guide was Carlos, excellent team! trip was very enjoyable not a single person was disappointed. would recommend this trip to anyone of any age, guarantee you wll enjoy it and take plenty of pictures, also if Jesse is ur tour guide u'll have even more laughs...hes crazy

this was a brilliant day out, lots of info. The guides are loads of fun and you don't get off the bus till all the drinks are gone! you have a good day and then there is an opportunity to buy t-shirts etc which helps to sponsor schoolkids.

I just wanted to say that this was an experience I will never forget!... the tour guides were awesome...Louis tricked us into putting this war-like paint on ourselves looking like we were unknowledgable!...I loved our driver PAPI!!!...they worked so hard so we could have tonnes of fun... and it was aweosme!, I always felt welcomed and comfortable and they made me laugh all the time. I learned so much and had so many laughs!...everyone on this tour seemed to really enjoy themselves. Thanks for such a wonderful experience I hope I will be able to come again soon!

special thanx to Omar, Leo (driver), and the other tour guides which we never got their names, we had a great trip to the waterfall, seeing smiling happy children, even the ones who were too friendly...the whole experience all came together to make a great afternoon, which we will reccomend to friends and family. We had a great time, thanks to Paul & Victor. Mycow beach was out of this world (they take you here to have a go at Boogie Boarding). Paul was very knowledgable and could answer all our questions. You visit a typical Dominican house and the family were very accomodating. If you are thinking of taking gifts for the children, pens pencils etc, do not give them out on the trip but give them to your guide as they distribute them in the correct manner to discourage any begging. Make sure you take some dollars with you to buy a hat ($15) and a t-shirt ($10) as some of the proceeds go to local charities as you will see from this site. You also stop off at a Rum shack where they sell cigarettes so make sure you have some pesos, they were approx 250 pesos, which works out at about £7 in English money, very cheap!!! Thanks again guys and keep up the good work!!
