We had a great time at Outback Safari. Our guide Rudy made all the difference. He was very knowledgeable, funny, and helpful. I would recommend this tour to anyone travelling to the D.R. The fact that they sponsor a school is exellent. I am surprised that Rudy had such good balance, to not fall off the back of the truck. If you read this Rudy we told everybody about the car wash.

I went on the trip on 23rd Oct 2003 with 7 others from England who were staying in Occidental Flamenco Bavaro, and the outback safari with "Fermin" and "Ramon" (and their unlimited supply of rum) was definetly a highlight of our holiday! Going bodyboarding was best bit though! I loved every bit of the safari, so breathtaking and exciting! Next time I come to the Dominican Republic, I'll go again, and I hope to see "Fermin" and "Ramon" again! :) PS. If the guys from Canada who were with us are reading this, I'd like to say hi and sorry about my dad's smoking while the hood was down! ;)

Ww went on the safari on Monday 10th November with Angel Marie, he was a fantastic guide! We went from the Fun Royale hotel in Playa Dorada. A big thank you to all of the tour guides who made the day so much fun, we've got some fantastic photos from it! We would love to hear more about the work you do in Dom. Rep. and how it is all going. Outback safari was brilliant. We went in June 2003 and it was one of the best days we had in the dominican. Would recomend it to anyone - the day was made by our guide Niko who was great. See I can still remember the name 6 months later.

Had a great time. Eddy and Niko were fabulous! We recommended this tour to everyone we saw in Punta Cana and hope to take it again when we go back next year. How do they open those bottles and not fall off the back of the truck while making drinks?

We recently had a large group of people from Ohio and took the outback from the Sunscape resort. We had a Great time with Munchy our tour guide and Daniel the pimp as our driver. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable about the Dominican Republic. Along with his great sense of humor we enjoyed our day while learning all about the people that live there. We highly recommend this tour! * PS, We have all tried to open our bottles here at home like Munchy- That was an art all to it's own! Nice job Munchy! :-)

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our outback experience. Our guide was Munchy, not only was he very knowledgeable, but his humour kept the whole group in stiches throughout the trip. My wife suffers from back problems, this wa sadvised to the guides before we left our hotel. The care and consideration that was shown was excellent and we commend the trip, which although taken in September 2001, stills brings very happy memories to us both. If you like Lenny Henry's humour, you will love Munchy's!. Richard

We went on the safri just last week whilst on holiday in the Dom. Rep. As organised tours were the safest way to enjoy this magnificent country the safari was ideal. I learnt and saw sooo much. All the fruit trees, the coffee, the houses, Tony our guide was fantastic and catered for both the English and the Americans on the tour. Would have appreciated more time at the centre though. Well done on a really organised and informative tour!

our outback adventure started with omar as our guide and the candyman as our driver. omar made it the most enjoying day for a 10 hour trip. he was not only our guide but also our bartender, history teacher, lunch server, and comic. omar really made us his family along with the thirteen other folks we were with. he explained everything we saw on the way up to the mountian range,it was beautiful.we sang who let the dogs out and a few other choice songs as well. we give OMAR two thumbs up for a very memorable trip. when we got back to the hotel we spoke with other folks who had went on the trip and they didnt seem to enjoy it as much, that was because they didnt have OMAR as their guide. when you go on this adventure make double sure you ask for OMAR to be your guide.

What a day to remeber this turned out to be. Our guide and driver Ruddy and Junior were fantastic. How the hell they managed to produce perfect rum and coke while hanging one handed off the back of the moving truck is a a mystery. If you want to vist the real Dominican then this is the trip to take!

This comment is a little late, but what the hell! My husband and I were in the Dominican in Feb 2002, with another couple. The boys decided to do the Crazy wheels thing and Leanne and I decided to do the Outback Safari. We had the best time!! Rum, Beer! What more could you ask for? But it was also very educational. Next time we're there ,the husband is going on the safari!!I highly recommend this trip it's a blast!!

If you do nothimg else,This is a must see tour!!!! Very good tour guids! The best! You see just about everything! I do have one suggestion if you take this your; Just try and ask a question that the tour guide does not know the answer too! Very hard!!! Trust us, and the group too! We came up with every question you could emagine, and they knew the answer!!! (if not they put on one hell of a act like they knew what they where talking about! (All though i do not think it was a act!)

Hmmm, silly me, entered my comments in the wrong place, will submit again, since it is well worth the effort. My daughter and myself just returned from a short but enjoyable vacation in Puerto Plata. One of our main goals was to make sure we did the Outback Safari, since we had done the one in Punta Cana in October 2002. Last year, our guide was Kenny. He was one of the reasons for wanting to do the Outback again. But the main reason, Outback Safari gives to families and children in need. This year, we had Angel #2 as our guide and Felix as our driver (who was cautious of the not so paved roads). Even though it was Angel #2s 2nd day, he did a great job of explaining, guiding and helping. As fate was, we got to meet up with Kenny (who had transferred from Punta Cana) again. We had a great day, of learning, fun, good food and great company. The river, the typical DR family & home, the rum shack, the ever so wild zoo, the river ride and the beautiful beach. Thanks to Kenny for helping me, when the under tow was a little too much for my weak "k"nees. I recommend OUTBACK SAFARI all the time. And hopefully will be able to do it again. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK, GUYS, YOU ARE THE GREATEST!!!!!
