In early January 2004, my family and I (19) went on a tour with "Outback Jungle Safari." My time was more than pleasurable. Our guide, Eddie, was amazing! REQUEST for HIM!!!!!!! He was humorous, knowledgeable, and also willing to learn. He spoke fluent English, which made it very easy to understand and learn as the tour went on. He was also excited to learn more english. Over all the tour was AMAZING...I would recommend it to anyone. I learnt plenty about the culture, history, life, and nature of the Dominican Republic. Boogie boarding was also a lot of fun...just don't take in too much salt water. This excursion was definitely a highlight to my time in the DR. It's a must do. My favorite part of the tour was seeing the real DR...the people, housing,etc.. I now all the more love Dominicans and have a huge compassion for them. I cannot wait for the day that I will return. Words cannot express my experience.

Definitely the best tour in the D.R. We went on our tour January 5/04. Our guide Ruddy (I remembered with two d's) and driver Roberto were hilarious and made sure we all had a great time. It was great to actually see the real Dominican and not just the resorts! I will definitely be back again, hopefully very soon!!!

Just took "outback safari" on January 12, 2004...a great way to see the countryside! Our guide, Alex, was fantastic and the driver, Daniel, also. They made the trip a memorable experience. Alex provided us information about Dominican Republic that made the trip so much more a personal experience. He was humorous, polite, helpful and a GREAT guide! Thanks

We just came back from our first Carribean holiday, and had an AMAZING time!! the 5 of us (a family of 5, parents and 'kids': 19, 21, 23) checked out the Outback Safari in early Jan. 2004. If you go, be sure to ask for Eddie! (as in Eddie Murphy:P) He made the trip a blast and was very informated! When ever you had a question, he always had an answer!! And when the trucks ahead of us got stuck in a rut, we never even noticed, we were having too much fun! :) Eddie, u rock! and to everyone else, be sure to check out the Outback Safari next time you're in the DR :)

What can I say apart from a truly fantastic day!! Our tour guide Nacho and driver Jose Luis were absolutely wonderful, warm, friendly and very, very funny. Nacho's knowledge of the Dominican Republic was fantastic, as well as his honesty when answering some fairly difficult questions. I would recommend this tour to anybody - if you dont go whilst you are in the country you will miss something quite incredible. A big hello to Nacho and Jose Luis from my two sons George (6) and Jacob (10 momnths, they absolutely loved them - I dont believe that I have ever seen my baby laugh and smile so much. A big, big THANK YOU.

15 of my family members (including me) took the outback safari tour on Sunday, December 28, 2003. It was an absolutely awesome tour! We really learned a lot about the Dominican Republic and its people. Our tour guide Kenny was great. He was very talkative and knowledgable, full of great information and a lot of fun to be with. Thanks for the great tour. We hope to do it again some day! Melissa from Canada

We had the pleasure of taking an Outback tour with our guide Alex, driver Christian and co-pilot Junior on December 17th. This was truly the highlight of our first trip to the Dominican Republic. It was nice to see how the residents of the island live, not just the property of the resort we stayed at. Our two children enjoyed the day as much as we did but especially enjoyed the stop at Macao Beach when they were given the opportunity to go boogie boarding. They loved it! If you are going to the Dominican Republic, make sure you take the Outback Safari Tour. You won't regret it! Also, if you are able to bring supplies for the public schools sponsored by the Outback Safari, they are more than happy to deliver them for you.

Hola Amigo's Just thought i would say that i had a second oppertunity in 2003 to enjoy the great hospitality of your guide's first trip (Angel) 2n'd trip (Rudy). I had the opertunity again this time with my youngest daughter and we had a great time. I have told many people friends & family about the Safari and am sure when they get the opertunity to go to the D R they will enjoy the same great fun time that we had. It is a good learning experiance not only for the kids but us Adults as well.I look forward to seeing the D R next year and hope to be able to book another trip with the guys (my friends) angel ,Rudy & the rest. Thanks again for a great trip in the outback of the Dominican Republic. Jim Vaughan

We had the best time on our outback safari trip. Our guide's name was Joe, and he was a very imformed person. He told us all about the history of the Dominican Republic, and the people's culture. He was very kind, and not to mention funny. He chugged a bottle of rum and sprite in about 5 seconds! We went into a home, a sugar field, liquor shop, chocolate making factory, a beautiful place for lunch, and finally to a wonderful beach. The bus ride was lots of fun. You could have a beer, Pepsi, 7UP, and mix it with rum if you wished. They opened up the drinks, poured out half, and filled it up with rum. That was tasty. It was a very memorable trip, and we would go on it again anytime.

My husband and I visited the Dominican Nov.22-29, 2003. I didn't realize the island was a spanish speaking country, we learned more about the island and it's people through our guide Kenny than through any other person during our stay. It's a very beautiful country and we plan on visiting again and trying one of your other trips.

My friend Natacha and I took the Outback adventure with Junior on the 3rd of December, it was the best day I spent in the Dominican, the lunch was divine, I need to get that potato salad recipe, I ended up craving it for the rest of the week. The whole day was a really humbling experience and a great way to help the community. I completely recommend this tour and also suggest buying as much merchandise a possible to help the children of the DR. Thanks Junior!! Nat and Melina

Here's to you Jesse. I just came back from Puerto Plata Nov 25-Dec 1 2003. The highlight of the trip was spending the day with Jesse our guide sharing his wisdom of the DR and the world as well as his expertise in pouring rum with 7Up. It's a great thing that this company does for the children and local community as well as putting on a good ride. Hope you don't get fired, Jesse. Warm regards, Larry Steinberg

We went on the safari on October 30/03 with our friends and family who came to celebrate our wedding! What a blast! We had Munchie as our tour guide, and Miguel the Pimp as our driver! Munchie had a great sense of humour and amazed us at his bartending abilities while standing in the back of moving truck! I would recommend it to anyone going to the DR!!! A great day, tons of education and loads of fun! Thanks so much!
