Just got back from the D.R. this week. Our small group of 3 went on the Outback Safari on Saturday with Jesse and Al (driver). It was wonderful!! and that's an understatement. Our guide Jesse was extremely knowledgeable and mixed it with the wildest humour. He made it easy to get to know everyone else on our tour. Thanks for the first aid Al... you're the best. Jesse, my digital camera also takes video & audio and we're having a blast showing our friends a little of your entertaining personality. This excursion was recommended to us by friends and we'll definitely be recommending to anyone we know going to the D.R. and the "boogie boarding"!!! Hope to get a package together to send for the schools as well.

wE JUST GOT BACK FROM PUNTA CANA TODAY. WE STAYED IN SECRETS. WE LOVED THE OUTBACK SAFARI. PAPI WAS A WONDERFUL DRIVER AND ALEX, OUR TOUR GUIDE WAS THE BEST!!!!! IT IS NICE TO SEE OTHER PARTS OF COUNTRY OTHER THAN THE HOTEL. ALEX WAS VERY INFORMATIVE. WE LEARNED ALOT. KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK.

We just got back from Punta Cana on February 27. I would like to thank the people at the Outback Safari. Thirteen of us were scheduled to take the safari on Wednesday. At about 2 AM I had to call and cancel our reservations because my sister had a heart attack a few hours earlier and was in the hospital. We didn't get any sleep and knew we could not enjoy the trip. We received full refund with no questions asked. The next day eight people from the group did take the trip. There driver was Daniel and tour guide was Luis. When Luis found out what had happened, he was very concerned and told the group they would stop at the hospital on the way home. What a surprise for my sister when nine people came walking into her hospital room. It really cheered her up because she just had gotten the news that she would have to stay in the hospital until Sunday and would not be able to travel home with us. She and another sister had to stay at the hotel until Wednesday until they got the OK to fly. The group had a wonderful time on the safari. They said it was the best time ever (even under the circumstances). I know they had a good time, because when they got to the hospital they were all talkative. Actually I think they were feeling no pain from the free flowing rum (ha ha). Thanks again for everything.

I just got back from Punta Cana last Saturday, I had a wonderful vacation. One of the highlights of my trip was the tour with Outback Safari, it was great. Leaving the resort and travelling around the island to a school, home and ranch gave me a chance to see how the Dominican people live. Our tour guide, Miguel was excellent. He was very comical, friendly and informative. Our driver, Papi, was also good. Going to the beach at the end of the tour was great, what a beautiful beach. I suggest if you visit the Dominican don't forget to take this tour, it is worth while.

Au début d'octobre 2004 j'ai fait le Safari et je suis revenue enchanté. Je fesais partie de la famille à Angel, notre guide qui parle un excellent français m'à enchanté. La semaine passé soit le 23 février 05 j'étais à Sosua avec une copine (qui vous a aussi écrit, je lui ai recommender de faire le Safari et tout comme moi elle est revenue super enchanté de sa journée. Ne lâché pas, ce que vous faite est super, nous apprend beaucoup et nous sensibilise au réalité de votre magnifique pays. A notre prochaine visite, Mélanie et moi allons sûrement refaire le Safari et revoir nos amis Angel et Israel, nos deux guides génial et francophone. Merci et à très bientôt

I would like to thank all people that participating in this wonderful program. My husband and I went to safari trip while staying in Secrets Excellence in Punta Cana on Feb 12-19. It was an unforgetabble experience to see this beautiful country, hard working people and beautiful children. It was good to know that part of the money are going to the schools and help for the families who need it, Special thanks to our guide Rafael and driver Bobby, bus #31 in Punta Cana , you guys ROCK!!! We forgot our painting on a driver seat and it was returned to us the next day. Thankx a million!!! Please get this note to them and let them know that we will never forget this trip, the "champaign mix" (7 up and rum he he)and their effor to make this trip very enjoyeble and interesting. We were in the Dominican in January and can honestly say that this tour was the highlight of our trip! We are still talking about it with friends. "Okay my Family"! Danny and Laondro were our tour guides and we will never forget them! They did an awesome job entertaining and informing us about the beautiful island! Don't miss this tour! You will get to see how the people on this island actually live, and you'll come back with great memories to share.

I just got back to Canada from the Dominican yesterday, and I’d have to say my favourite day in Puerto Plata had to be on the Outback tour!!! The entire day was a blas! The best part would have to be when we got to meet the kids and see how different their lifestyle is from ours - we take so much for granted. Kenny was an AWESOME guide, he definitely made the tour a a total blast for me!!! Thanks for all the bathroom breaks on the way back, bud! June Bug was our driver, and I actually felt pretty safe with him! A big hi goes out to Israel as well, see you next year!!!

Tour date: February 15, 2005 Our driver was Scooby and our tour guide was Rudy. We had 20 people of which 18 were fellow Canadians. This was DEFINITELY the highlight of our trip to the Dominican. A bit more pricey than the knock-off trips, but definitely worth it in safety. Seat belts for all and GREAT tour guides. Lots of information on the locals and customs and history of the island. What a great way to see the REAL Dominican. We stopped at a house, school (bring gifts such as pencils, pens, crayons, paper, barettes, dinky toys and candy - sugarless if you can because dental care is VERY pricey). the schools and homes are sponsored by the Outback company - so something worthwhile is being done with some of their profits - gotta love it ! We stopped at a rum shakc (cheapest place to buy rum, pineapple wine, pure vanilla, cigars and coffee!) and we enjoyed an amazing picnic lunch - including potato salada and pasta salad. THe riverboat ride was fun and we thoroughly enjoyed the swimming at Cabarete beach - even the boogy boarding - my travelling companion and myself are 40 and 42 and we LOVED it. This is a great tour for ALL ages and it is fun and animated and educational. I'd do it again ! Thanks for a memory I'll have forever !

We had an amazing time on this trip. It was well worth the cost, although I was apprehensive at first. Our guide George was amazing: funny, polite, and made sure that we had an amazing time. The driver/bartender Jose was also wonderful. I would highly recommend this to anyone -- it was a great way to spend the day. I can't say enough nice things about George.

My friend Larisa and I took the Outback Safari Punta Cana on February 10, 2005. It was absolutely awesome!!! The best adventure during our week stay. Lets you really get to know the country and see much more reality than you can see at the resort. Our guide Omar was great-very knowledgeable and professional. Made the whole trip very pleasant for everybody. Many thanks for introducing me to a boogie board! Thanks to the best driver in the DR (Jose Luis)for letting me drive in the cabin.

There is one word to say WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!! everyone has got to do this trip when in the D.R. Puerto Plata it was alot of fun I am 23 years old and i have learned that we take alot for granted i think that parents should take their kids on this one it will help them understand how luckey they really are The places that we visted where great. House, school,fruit place and a few more places but i will let you found out for yourself. one more thing our tour guide Kenny was great he made the trip all the better.
