What a GREAT learning experience this excursion was!! Omar our tour guide was very informational and was able to answer any questions we had about the country. Candy Man (our driver) and Omar worked very well together. My husband and I loved everything about this trip and hope to come back someday. * Omar we hope you can come to the USA someday to see snow! A group of 8 of us (from Newfoundland, Alberta and Nova Scotia) did this tour on April 22,2006, and had a blast! Our tour guide was Rudy and our driver was Victor and they are THE BEST. Rudy had us laughing the whole time and taught us so much about the country, and Victor is a great driver and kept us safe the whole time. We love you guys! The weather wasn't the best that day (raining off and on all day) but we still made the best of it and have memories to last a lifetime. Had a great tour, great meal, and took lots of photos/video. I would do this tour again in a heartbeat and will definitely recommend it to friends/family!!! Miss you guys already :(

I went on the safari with my wife, friend, and his fiance and we had a blast. Omar was our tour guide and he knows how to make rum and cokes really good. The trip to the school was cool to see and think of how well we have it in the USA. Remember to bring some pencils for the kids they will love it. The boogie boarding at the end was really cool. You can catch some really big waves when doing this. We had one of the best drivers in the fleet from what Omar said. We just called him "Pimp Mama" and he responded. Omar speaks really good english and knew a lot about his country. If I ever go back I will do the Outback Safari again. Thanks for such a great time.

Hello All! First & foremost I would highly recommend this trip to anyone who wants to TRULY experience the people and lifestyle of the Domincan Republic. My best friend and I did the North Coast tour with the wonderful and knowledgeable Jesse, and driver/bartender Henri, who never left us without a drink or a smile.Jesse provided a day full of laughs and a history and knowledge of the people and the island. We enjoyed the entire day, with visiting the school a highlight of my own. Don't miss out on this once in a life time experience!!

My wife and I had a great time on this Safari! It was our first time to the Dominican Republic and this excursion enabled us to see the beautiful people and the countryside that we would have missed out on had we just stayed at our resort. We learned so much from our wonderful guide, Daniel, who made us feel like one of his family while we were with him. The drinks and lunch were excellent and we really enjoyed boogie boarding and bodysurfing at the beautiful beach. We had brought along some school supplies and toys for the kids and we could see that the kids and teachers really appreciated them. We recommend this trip to everyone!!!

we went out on april 11 with Easy (our tour guide). He was great,he really opened our eyes to every thing thats been going on with the DR. We had the best day!!! loved the boogie boarding. Its an all day aventure .I do tell every one to wear water shoes.its amazing how much you can learn in one day. I really recamend this tour.

Hey there! This trip was amazing! If you go to the Dominican Republic, you HAVE to do it. Remember to bring school supplies and little treats for the kids though. This tour was awesome! Cesar was our driver, and Rapheal was our guide. He called us his "Royal Family", and treated us exactly that way. It is a day I will never forget, and hope to make contact with my Dominican friends again some day. We learned alot about life in the Dominican, and drank quite a little rum and Pepsi. We tried to run them out, but found out that wasn't possible. The beach was great, and I think about Rapheal and his family often. Thanks guys!!

This was an awesome adventure. Our tour guide Joel was a lot of fun. He can speak excellent english and he shared a lot of interesting facts about the Dominican Republic. On this adventure you visit a family home, a coffee and cocoa plantation, a ride in the mountains and to end your day you go boogey boarding (body surfing). It was certainly worth every penny and I would highly recommend it.

Our Outback Safari trip was the best day we spent the week we were in the DR. We went on the safari the last day of our vacation with Eddie as our Guide and Bobby as our driver. We learned so much from Eddie about the way of life of the Domincan people and their lifestyles. We sang songs and enjoyed the refreshments very much! Eddie was such a wonderful guide...There were 20 people on the tour, 8 of us from NY, 4 from Illinois, and 8 from Michigan. We all were having the best time. Thanks eddie and Bobby...Great assets to the Outback Safari team! Would reccomend this to everyone!

The outback safari was one of the tours that we took and must say the best. Angel V. was an awesome tour guide and Fray well must have been a good driver we made it. We visited a home to see how the DR people live and it was neat to see. We also went to a school, took a swim in the river,had an excellent lunch, seen crocodiles, iguanas , and snakes. We went boogie boarding in the ocean. Angel was funny and kept us smiling all day. I was glad to hear that some of the money the outback safari brings in goes right back to the community, which made me want to help out more so We bought a hat and a bag. Thanks to Angel V. and Fray for the best tour ever. I would suggest if you go to the DR, this is a must do.

Took the tour last Thursday, 30 March 2006. It was amazing. George, our guide was hilarious and knowledgeable. Frank was our driver and more importantly our bartender. It is a real eye opener to see how others live. Our sincere thank you to the Dominican family for allowing us to see their modest but comfortable home. The boogie boarding was awesome and the highlight of the day. Hope George was able to rectify the one setback we all experienced on this particular day. Would welcome an email from him.
