My husband and I took the tour on 11/9/06 with our 3 children ages 4, 7, and 9. It was our first time to the DR and we wanted to see some of the country and learn its history. And we like to let our children see the way people live in other countries outside of the resort. Well, we all really enjoyed ourselves. Our guide Leandro and driver Candyman were a pleasure to spend the day with and full of information and jokes. My husband really enjoyed finishing the day with a swim but my kids just sat and watched since they boogie board all summer in NJ. Once again, fantastic excursion.

Our day with Alex and Ramon was the high light of our trip to the DR. Everyone should experience this tour as part of their time in this wonderful country. Alex had a great knowledge of the history of the DR and we really enjoyed that. When we come again we will bring school supplies and things for the orphanages. Don't miss this experience.

Well what can i say!!! Have been back a while and have only just found this site - hence the late addition!! What a fantastic day - i laughed so much - and nearly cried at times too. This trip was so fantastic i would reccomend it to anyone. And as for Jessie, well what can i say, the guy is a legend!!! He is so commited to his job and the people that he sees along the way, definitely an A1 tour guide!!!

We had Angel and Scoobie for our guides! What a day! We had a fantastic day, Angel was excellent! funny, informative, involved everyone on the tour, Scoobie was cool. fab day out and a must for all ages. Fab way to see the Real DR, a very humbling experience. We have friends going in a couple of weeks, and have defo recommended this day out! Made our holiday.

I have done outback safari's from Juan dolio and Punta Cana, We last went on the outback safari in September 2005, We had a fantastic time with Eddie as our guide, it is a tour I would recommend to anyone visiting the Dominican Republic.

This was mine and my Fiance's first trip to D.R. We went on the Safari adventure Oct. 18th (2006) and Nacho was our guide and Ramone was the driver. We definitely had a good time. Learned alot on this expidition. Nacho was very knowledgable about his country as well as ours. I recommend that anyone visiting D.R. take this tour. YOu get to see some of this beautiful island. Nacho is really popular with the kids. Every village and most homes had kids running out and waving and yelling Nacho's name. Some were blowing kisses. This man is truely well liked. We stopped along the way so Nacho could drop off donated school supplies and flip flops to some of the families. YOu can really see it in Nacho's expression when he talks about these kids that he truely cares about them. Thank you Nacho and Ramone for a fun and learning experience. We'll be looking you up on our next Outback trip!

this is my 2nd time on the outback safari. i was also on it in april of 2006. this is the best tour they have in the dominican republic. i have been to punta cana 6 times and learning the culture has been the best for me. i will always tell people about this tour. and i will be back on the tour next year when i come back to punta cana. alex and cesear you rock!

If you are going to the Dominican Republic, you do not want to miss this tour!!! It was a highlight to our honeymoon. We went on the tour 10/7/06.... and had the best guide we could have asked for: Sammy. This man deserves a raise, he is just that good. I hope to go back again, and will do this tour again as well!

Nacho, Nacho, Nacho… This was an amazing experience and I think a very big reason for this was the great team that guided us on the tour. We went on several trips while in Punta Cana, but none came close to being as exciting or as fun as the Outback Safari. We had a great time! Thank you Nacho and Leo. What a trip! This is an absolute must if you are going to the Dominican. Easy and Junior were our guides and I have to say what an great guy Easy is! So funny and informative and totally made my day! how he managed to pour a rum and coke off the back of a moving truck is beyond me! The boogie boarding is a scream which you MUST try! My husband and I took this trip in September 2006. We had the best guide ever...SAMMY and his driver RAMONITA!!!... LOL They were informative, friendly, outgoing, generous, etc. We regard both of them as an extended part of our family. We are already planning another trip, this time taking the kids, and requesting the duo again. We can't wait to share this experience with our boys. We recommend this trip to everyone...you will not regret it.
