Brilliant and very well organised trip, so pleased we did it, only let down was couldnt visit the school due to the storm that hit the island earlier in the week. First time been to the Dominican and would most definately return. The trip was made even more fun with a brilliant guide Julian!!!!! and a great driver. Best ever holiday!!

This excursion was one of our best memories from our recent trip to Punta Cana. Danny and Leo were amazing hosts!! Seeing the kids on the journey was the best memory ever...their smiles are forever in our hearts! This excursion is definatly a must during your visit to R of D. One note of caution...they tell you that customs does not have a problem with the mumajuana. But some on our charter after getting back to Canada had it confinscated by customs (only due to being over on there declarations and having there bags checked) So hopefully you won't get your bags checked if you are coming back with some. If you go to the domincan you must go on this trip it is great fun loads to see and do, I went on this trip on the 6th december and it was brillant the only sad thing is that a few days after we went there was a tropical storm and a lot of what we saw was wiped out it really hits home how lucky we are. Any way go on thre outback safari drink lots of rum and have a great time and hope that you get Ruddy as your tour guide he is great and victor the best driver in the dominican republic so he told us. ten out of ten. Also please please take some pens and paper for the local school you will visit they will be much appreciated.

My mom took me on my first trip out of Country and while we were in the Dominican Tropical Storm Olga hit. We decided to do the Outback Safari and this was by far the best decision. Our tour guide Jesse and driver Victor were the best guys I had the opportunity to meet while in the Dominican. They were fun, polite, courteous, knowledgable and very sweet!! Seeing the typical home, the schools, fruit plantation, the countryside, everything about this trip was breathless, educational, and very exciting! I could go on and on about this experience by far something I would want to keep doing over and over again and to be completely honest our tour guide Jesse is such a wonderful man that it makes you think about what you could do to help others in these kinds of situations. I would like to express how enjoyable our Outback Safari was on Wednesday, December 5th. Our trip was the best part of our week long stay in Punta Cana. Getting a better view of the Dominican Republic was a great experience in itself but the day was made by our guide Omar and 'the best driver in the Dominican Republic', Ceasar(sp). I can not tell you how impressed I was with Omar and Ceasar. They made the day that much more fun for everyone on the trip. The trip was fun and educational. My family and I went on other excursions during our week and nothing compared to our Outback Safari. Thank you Omar and Ceasar. We hope to see you in the futre.

A BIG thanks to the guides who made our day one for the record books. Junior (AKA Marciano)did a fantastic job, his sense of humor kept us laughing at every twist and turn. Our driver Victor acted as our bartender and did he ever serve up some sweet drinks. I am not one for day trips when i travel, i normally like to explore on my own, but with Jr and Victor as our guide/driver the fun started the minute we boarded the truck. I took quite a pounding that day the roads are rather bumpy (especially the back roads) so ladies I recommend a bra for this adventure if you're a little on the top heavy side. Simply put I left with a great taste of Dominican culture.To all of the guides, Rudy,, EZ, Jr and Victor we hope to see you soon and thanks again!

This adventure was a blast!!! We had Marciano aka Junior as our tour guide and Victor as our driver. We really enjoyed everything about the day. Junior was a great guide; he was knowledgable and funny and his personality really added to the day. Boogie boarding was fantastic and the chat on the beach was very informative. I think we might have scared Junior with our terrible sing along on the way back to the hotel. The beer was great and happy hour really was every 2 minutes. We would recommend this tour to anyone who visits the Dominican. We hope to return in April and will definately book this again. Lots of love from the "crazy" Canadian girls!!!

This tour was very interesting and informative. The Dominican Republic is beautiful. The locals may lack the monetary riches of people in some other countries, but they seem rich with pride and values. Every Dominican we met or encountered was friendly. Alex is an amazing guide--very knowledgeable, proud of his country, courteous, and he speaks English very well, which is good for those of us who don't know very much Spanish. We were very impressed. My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed our outback adventure. The guides were great and very entertaining. This tour provided interesting information and sites that we wouldn't have normally seen. We had a fantastic holiday 25/9/07 to 10/10/07. Our first trip during our only ever visit to Dom Republic was this. I had heard good reviews from everyone at our hotel and I wasn't disappointed. Although we got to see the real Dominican, it wasn't as upsetting as I had prepared myself for. It is an eye opening experience and there are certainly some folk that haven't what we would consider to be the bare essentials, yet they have different values and priorities to us. They seem in the most very happy with their modest existences, they do not crave the stupid materials that we HAVE to have yet could so easily live without. I would not trade places yet would like a piece of their simplistic happiness to be spread amongst so many people that I know.... But the serious side of this day is teamed with so much fun (and rum) Jesse and Scooby were our leaders for the day. Jesse is the master of all tour guides,,, if you get him for your day out then you will have a fantastic yet informative day. ENJOY....WISH I WAS THERE TOO..

We did the tour on Thursday 1 Nov with Jesse. It was the best tour I've ever experienced on any holiday, and the only one which puts something straight back into the local community. It was great fun, highly entertaining, and very informative. If you holiday to Puerto Plata you must do this tour. Jesse is a born performer !

truly the best day of our holiday!! every person who holidays in the dom rep should do this amazing trip at least once. from the moment we were picked up from our resort the tour guide and driver welcomed us into the outback family. this is an imformative and extremely fun day. the rum and 7up (santo libre) flowed as quickly as the imformation about this wonderful country. it is so good to know about the wonderful help this company does for the local communities. we are so very priviliged to have had an insight into the dominican lifestyle, and it makes you stop and think about our own life at home.recommended it to other guests on our return!!

This was the best trip i did in the Dom. Rep i loved it everyone were very plesant and alwayswilling to talk to you. Jesse helped me do the boogie boarding which was the best part of it. Easy was our tour guide and he was very funny. Next time i go back to to the Dom. Rep i will definatley be gong on the outback safari again!!! x

What a fantastic day, It was a long lasting memory for memory for us as we didnt know what to expect, It was an eye opener to say the very least. Jesse was our tour operatorand scobby was our driver. When we saw the families and how they lived we very shocked because we didnt relise poverty was so ... inthis country. To see how these families lived was a great expenice at first we felt really sad but as we saw these families it made me relise how happy they are that they cherise every little thing we have, somethiing us people who have good jobs and flashy lives forget and take for granted. My only regret is that we didnt take gifts for the children because we didnt know but if we were to go back it would be a definate. Jesse was a great tour guide told us all the intresting facts and also added loads of his own funy humor, this man clearly loved his job. AAAA++++++ all round definate a must do if your visiting dominican republic
