What an awesome experience made even more memorable by our host Angel and driver Scooby! The tour really provided us with an insight into the culture and life of countryside Dominican Republic. Angel is so knowledgeable about his country...and such a comedian! Our sides are still hurting from laughing! I had no idea what to expect. Kenny was a riot, and everything about the trip was fun and entertaining. Lots of great banter while exploring the countryside. Depsite the crazy potholes, we felt safe and well looked after the whole time. Lunch was great, the little boat trip was a hoot. Boogie Boarding was an amazing highlight. By the time the trip was over we were exhausted but happy. This excursion is a must if you want to just get out of your hotel and see a bit of Dominican life! Oh, the rum was pretty awesome too, not to mention the great deal on coffee that you could get. Amazing to see the woman roasting the coffee beans in the woods. Who knew what fun this trip would be? Great time had by all.

Probably the best decision we made on this holiday, was to take the Safari. We were very fortunate to have good travelling companions, complimented by Jose (guide) and Leo (driver) - ignore the other comments, these two really are the best! The trip was educational, delivered with a shed-load of humour, cervezas and champagne(?). A bonus was to see the commendable support, from Safari profits, directed to the communities most in need - it eased the conscience (and the cervezas!). Lunch was well-prepared, and received. The day was rounded off with a brief visit to the beach. All in all, an excellent day, thoroughly recommended.

Eddie and Candyman are the best guides! Great adventure, had a blast and Eddie was very informative. I would highly recommend this trip to anybody. Excursions of any kind are fun, but people make the difference and Outback Safari's knows how to hire the right people. The humor was excellent, service fantastic, and sites unbelievable. The security was great, 2-3 employees in the water (yes in the water, not just on the beach) at all times when we were swimming? Amazing security. I can not compliment Eddie (tour guide) enough, he elevates the standard of what a tour guide should be.

Our Apple rep recommended the trip and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Eddie was our tour guide and Romone our driver. It was especially nice to see life as it is outside of the Dominican Republic. We enjoyed the tour but unfortunately got caught in a rain storm on the island. I would recommend this tour to anyone visiting the Dominican Republic.

We took the full day tour on March 4, 2009, Alex was the guide and Leo was the driver. They were both excellent. Alex was VERY informative and Leo was a gas with his ever present smile and good humor. The fun and rum flowed freely as did the laughs. I highly recommend this tour to anyone.

My sister and I took the Outback Safari tour on Monday March 2nd. It rocked!1 It was the best time of my life!! Our guide was Arnie and our driver Miguel. They were the best!! I highly reccomend this tour to anyone who wants to have a great time with wonderful pople. We met great people on the tour and Kenny a tour guide with another group was super funny!! My husband and I did the tour feb 23rd with Sammy as our tour guide i highly recomend him he was the best. We had so much fun on our tour and learned so much about life in DR outside of the resorts. You get the best prices on cigars and Rum on your tour along with great scenery. They would pull over and allow us to take pictures when we wanted and the beach at the end is the prettiest spot and alot of fun boogie boarding to top it off. I highly recomend anyone wanting to visit DR and see the countryside in a safe manner to take this tour it is worth the money

We had a "BLAST" on this excursion. Kenny (the guide) was hilarious and give you lots of info. Elvis (the driver) was so quite and a great driver, he hit every hole (just joking). There was lots of SUN, FUN & lots of RUM (with Sprite), Beer to.!!! We saw lots & learned lots. The boogie boarding was fun. This tour is a must for anyone young or old. There was even a six week old on our tour. We would highly recommend they tour. Thanks for a great time guys.

I went to the dominican just last year when i was 13. to me it would be so boring if we had not went on the Outback-safari. it had to be the high light of our trip. our guide sammi was so amazing he made sure all questions were answered as well as keeping us entertained. we learned so much about the way of life of the dominican people but he made it fun.i loved it when sammi would go on the back of our bus and serve drinks it was so fun and funny he was alot of fun. my parents and i agree if we were to go back we would definatly go on this safari and i would be sure to ask for SAMMI!!!!

This trip is the best! We had Kenny as our guide who just knew everything about anything - informative and lots of fun. The trip is a must, you get to see all the local area and meet the people - who are the friendliest, plus the boogie boarding on the beach. The foods good and the drink is ongoing!! We were taken out to experience Dominican life by Angel (guide). He spoke on various topics throughout the entire tour clearly demonstrating his effort and commitment to providing an A-1 experience to the clients. He has definitely spent a lot of time becoming knowledgeable with relevant information and updates ensuring his information is current. His descriptions and explanations gave us a very clear understanding of living in the Dominican Republic. This was our first time to Punta Cana and this adventure was recommended by our Apple Vacations Representative.We were glad he did !!! Our tour guides were Gregory and Candyman and they were the funniest tour guides we ever saw. Playing tricks on each other and on the guests they just made it an all around GREAT experience for us.They seemed more informative than some of the other guides and were more fun. All in all I would recommend this tour to any one for a great time and a lot of fun!!! I give this adventure a 10 ! YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED ON THIS TOUR!!!!

My friends and me had gone on the Outback Safari on February 19th, 2009. I will never forget this trip, it was absolutely amazing. Kenny, our guide was the funniest, and most fabulous person ever. And our driver Joel, was as sweet as they come, he helped every lady in and out of the truck, and he never missed a hole! During this excursion I was able to witness things that I thought only existed in the movies, it definitely opened my eyes to a new world. This was a day of laughter, a day of fun, and a day of drinking! And my friends and I will never forget the enjoyment this trip brought us. Thank-you Kenny, Joel, and The Outback Safari for ending my vacation with a bang!

My family and I just got back from Punta Cana It was and amazing trip, I didnt think that it could get any better but it did, the day that we went out on the tour mad it a million times better! Sammy our guide and Leonardo the driver were AMAZING! They were extremly FUNNY AND INFORMATIVE! I really loved learning about the island and the people that live there. My family and I jusst got back from Punta Cana, The weather was beautiful and it was an amazing trip. I didnt think that it could get any better and then we went on the tour.
