On GO YUMA!, we’ll take you out on the tour of a lifetime, driving through the country side to get to the most historic sites in the eastern Dominican Republic. See the house where Juan Ponce de Leon, the man who discovered the state of Florida and Puerto Rico, lived over 500 years ago, or take a boat ride and see the remains of a sunken ship only the locals know about !

You’ll get to see the side of Hispaniola that tourists rarely get a glimpse of including Batey towns where the sugar cane field workers live, a local cottage where you’ll learn about a variety of the medicinal plants and their uses and try samples of Dominicans teas and more.We take you to a rustic tobacco factory to show you the process of hand rolling cigars and will visit a boys orphanage where you are able to meet the kids and spend some time with them in the afternoon.To end your day Dominican style, we’re gonna help you let loose after a hard day’s work, that’s right, the original Dominican happy hour, complete with local beer and rhythmic music.

Professionally trained Guides who will explain the history, culture, plants and animals and the way that Dominicans have lived for over 100 years.

2:00 pm, Visit to “Paso Higueyano” a local Cigar factory
 
2:45 pm, National Basilica “Our Lady of Altagracia”
 
3:20 pm, Party time at a local Carwash
 
4:30 pm, Return to the hotels
