You’ll get to see the side of Hispaniola that tourists rarely get a
glimpse of including Batey towns where the sugar cane field workers
live, a local cottage where you’ll learn about a variety of the
medicinal plants and their uses and try samples of Dominicans teas
and more.We take you to a rustic tobacco factory to show you the
process of hand rolling cigars and will visit a boys orphanage where
you are able to meet the kids and spend some time with them in the
afternoon.To end your day Dominican style, we’re gonna help you let
loose after a hard day’s work, that’s right, the original Dominican
happy hour, complete with local beer and rhythmic music.
Professionally trained Guides who will explain the history, culture, plants and animals and the way that Dominicans have lived for over 100 years.

10:45 am, Arrival at the museum of Juan Ponce de Leon’s home
11:30 am, Stop at the Boca de Yuma dock for river boat ride
12:00 pm, Visit to Berna’s cave
12:30 pm, Arrival at Water Front Restaurant
2:45 pm, Visit to local boy’s shelter
3:50 pm, Visit to local Artisan market
4:00 pm. Party time on the bus and head back to the hotels
