We went on the safari in June 2010, what a fantastic day - worth every penny. Our guide, Angel, and driver, Scooby, were absolutely brilliant and made the day extra special. They were very informative but funny and kept Luke, who is 5, entertained all day. Loads of things to see and do: the local house and school, the local children, boogie boarding and the rum keeps on flowing all day long!! We can't recommend this highly enough - cheers Angel and Scooby.

We went on the East Coast Outback safari with Sammy and Leo. We have got yo say that this trip was amazing. We had so many laughs and lots of fun as well as learning so much about the Dominican Republic. Sammy was an excellent guide, very informitive and passionate about his country. It was our honeymoon this was definately the best day of the 2 weeks!! Thanks so much !!

First I would like to thank Luis and Cesar for the wonderful day. Visiting with the local people and seeing how you live in the Dominican is a real eye opener. The coffee and cocoa were great as was the coconut oil presentation. Keep up the great work. Definately would recommend to friends.

Tour Guide- Alex Driver- Ramon We were a bit wary of going on this trip but we needn't of been, if we done this trip the first week we would have done it again the second week it was that good! Our tour guide Alex was superb answered every question and very informative, He made the experiance fun and entertaining. The only grumble I would say is the coffee and chocolate we bought there did not taste like the one we tried at the farm. But the trip is brilliant, I tried boogie boarding for the first time i put the youngsters to shame I was fab at it!! If we go back I would def do this trip again. Little hint take excercise books pens and pencils for the school you vist.

My husband and I decided to spend our last day outside the resort. Totally freakin' worth it! Many many thanks to our wonderful tour guide ALEX & the driver MARCO. They were kind, thoughtful and so very helpful. Both did an incredible job answering all of the many questions we had about the country and the culture. We learned so much! We truly enjoyed their company as well as the trip through the coffee/cocoa plantations and the beautiful beach! We plan to come back to Punta Cana again in the future to see more of the country. We would just like to say that we had a fantastic time on this tour. Kenny and Scooby, our guide and driver were excellent. The many new things we visited will be with us forever. Went on the outback safari in march fantastic day out with a great guide and driver very informative (take sweets for the local kids) good to see how the people live the schools village and houses, the boogie boarding was fantastic even though i only manage to catch a couple of the waves..... We've just returned from two weeks in the Dominican Republic, and one of the highlights was our trip with Outback Safari. Our guide Sammy was fantastic, he knows everything about his country it seems, and was always on hand to explain where we were an what we were seeing, and Cesar our driver was only too happy to stop for impromptu photos. We were looked after the whole day, with a seemingly-endless supply of refreshments (!) I learnt more about the Dominican Republic from one day with Sammy than from reading any number of guide books. If you only do one excursion during your holiday, make it Outback Safari!

I was on vacation school break in April 2010, my husband myself and my grandaughter. We went on the outback safari for a half day excursion. Alex and Poppi were our tour guides, Alex was so full of information about the island and the way they lived there and it was great to see outside the resort. My grandaughter who is 11 enjoyed going to the school and seeing the children. We enjoyed spending time with one family and Alex explained all about the coca beans and coffee beans which we gladly took some home. The coffee is great!!! Poppi was also a great guy and very polite. I would highly recommend this excursion it is very educating. It is a poor island but the people are very happy. Good Job Alex and Poppi, don't forget to tip them, they deserve it for a job well done.

My husband and I took this trip with Sammy as our guide. I was very unsure of what to expect and how much fun I would have. Needless to say we left a few days a go and are still talking about Sammy. He was a great guide and very imforative, Sammy really allowed us to usderstand so much about his cultrue and everyday life along with good hummor. We took so much more with us at the end of the day rather than just coffee beans and cocco. We will be back to see our friends again. Thank you so much Sammy for the great day and lots of laughs..

My family in DR for the wedding of the century... 8 of us and the bride to be went on the safari with Alex, the guide and Leo, the driver who were both the most hospitable hosts on this adventure. Attentive and gracious is how we were all treated. It was a learning experience for the group and then the Macao Beach to highlight the end. WOW. We are grateful for the journey and our guide Alex, he ate with us and shared his life and passion with us. Leo, thankfully took delicate paths on the safari and kept us all safe. The Outback Safari was an amazing day out. I would recommend it to anyone visiting. We had an amazing day with Ruddy and our driver Elvis. Ruddy's knowledge was fantastic and his sense of humour a blast. We met some people (Sallyanne and her two boys Kaleb and Faben) on this trip and spent the rest of the holiday in their company and I'm sure will remain friends. The atomosphere on the trip was light-hearted and fun. It was well organised and safety was of the utmost importance to the company. I would also like to thank the Domincan family who allowed us all to wander through their home.

Had so much fun, what an adventure. Our guides Scooby(driver) and Junior were great. They were safety conscience, knew the countryside very well and took us into places and showed us the real Dominican countryside. They were both great guys to converse with and also had a great sense of humour. The chicken at lunch time was fabulous!! And to wind up a great day we went boogie boarding on a beautiful beach.
